Born at the foot of the French Alps in 1956, Kimberfeel provides footwear for mountain lovers. Hiking and après-ski: a high-performance shoe for every season, from the valley to steep trails.
With a know-how that combines technique and design, we create the fusion between sport and fashion. For us, the mountain has always been fashionable and we are proud to support young and old in the long term.

The story of an ascent
It was in 1956 at the foot of Mont Blanc that Jean Vial created a smaller mountain: Mount Kimberfeel.
At its beginnings, the family brand was mainly engaged in the purchase and wholesale sale of products such as wool, footwear, haberdashery and hosiery, under the name SALAC, but keen to reach new heights, the company evolved over the years.
In 1980, the SALAC company found refuge in après-ski items, thus becoming a designer-manufacturer in this field. But it was in 1992 that the company really marked a major turning point by registering the Kimberfeel brand.
In English, Kimberfeel is the contraction of the words "Climb", evoking the idea of climbing a mountain, and "Feel", feeling nature. This new name symbolized the entire philosophy of Kimberfeel, namely a brand dedicated to making the mountains accessible to the whole family, in summer and winter.
Haute-Savoie, high quality
Over the years, Kimberfeel continued to evolve and diversify its product line, moving from the snowboard boot in 1993 to the snowshoe boot in 1996, eventually specializing in the outdoor footwear we know today.
Recently, Kimberfeel has expanded its range by designing poles and backpacks. Little by little, Kimberfeel demonstrated its commitment by sponsoring expeditions to the Far North in 2001 and 2003, thus strengthening its link with the mountain world.
The mountain: a big family
Today, Kimberfeel is recognized as a major player in the mountain footwear market, both for experienced and beginners.
Our brand has evolved over time but its roots remain anchored in the passion for the mountains and the desire to make this experience accessible to all.
